Company History

Scandia Limited has been established since 1981 and has been delivering building work, home improvements and quality bespoke joinery since then to many domestic, commercial and business customers. Based on Jupiter Road in Norwich, Scandia has built up a consistent and reliable customer base from pure reputation and guaranteed quality.

Over recent years Scandia has developed a comprehensive building division, that provides a full building service from extensions and refurbishments through to barn conversions and new builds.

We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and the fact that most of our customers come from referrals.

Mr Nigel Thompson

Managing Director

Nigel previously worked for William Standard Group and Monarch in various locations around the UK. Nigel started his career at the age of 17 and qualified as an electrical engineer/building design at the age of 24.
Nigel has over 25 years experience in building works, taking a logical approach to building solutions.
In his spare time he run’s a Judo club and Gym and loves any challenge.

Mr David Cosford

Director of Operations

David has recently started with Scandia to oversee the operations of both the Joinery and Building divisions. David has spent over 20 years in the sport and leisure industry where he worked at both University of East Anglia and University of East London. David also worked for Team GB during the Rio Olympic Games, and supported the training of the USA team during 2012.

Mr Ian Eke

Joinery Manager

Ian joined Scandia in 1992 as an apprentice joiner straight from leaving school. He attended City College Norwich and completed Carpentry and Joinery, City and Guilds
Ian has worked his way up through the company from the shop floor but still loves to keep his hands on the tools in-between dealing with clients and surveying joinery jobs.
In between work Ian spends a lot of his time with his family, enjoys running and the gym.
